As featured in the Napa Valley Register, September 7
We’re proud to share that Napa Valley Mobile IV Therapy (Napa Valley MIT) was profiled in the Napa Valley Register. The feature tells the story of how a St. Helena nurse turned a simple idea, that great medical care should come to you, into a growing concierge medicine practice serving all of wine country.
It’s a moment of real gratitude for our team, our partners and the clients who have trusted us in their homes, hotel rooms and event spaces. Here’s a look at what the Register shared, and what it means to us.

Care that comes to you
From our bases in St. Helena and Angwin, our clinicians travel across Napa, Sonoma and Lake counties to deliver IV therapy and concierge medical care wherever clients are. That might be a private home, a resort suite or a wedding venue.
“We are looking to make IV therapy and concierge medical services more convenient for everyone, from the first-time tourist visiting the area to the locals.” — Isaac Anjejo, founder
The Register highlighted the range of people we care for, from guests who need rehydration after a long day of tasting to patients managing anemia or recovering from chemotherapy. Each month, we see roughly 30 to 50 clients.
What we offer
- IV therapy tailored to you. Our drips range from hydration (IV fluids and electrolytes) to multivitamin blends, plus anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory support.
- Concierge medical visits. Depending on need, care is delivered by a nurse, a physician or both.
- Phone and telehealth access. Clients can reach our medical team for urgent and non-urgent questions without a trip to the clinic.
Most IV sessions take between 30 minutes and three hours, and every member of our medical staff also works in a hospital or clinic in our tri-county area.
From the operating room to entrepreneur
Isaac’s path to founding Napa Valley MIT began far from wine country. He came to the U.S. from Kenya at age 12, when his family joined his father, Dr. Dixon Anjejo, as he earned his doctorate in public health at Loma Linda University. That example set Isaac on a path toward medicine.
He moved to Napa Valley in 2007 to study nursing at Pacific Union College, graduating in 2011. He then built operating-room experience at hospitals across the region, including Adventist Health St. Helena, Adventist Health Clear Lake, Napa Surgery Center and Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa. In 2016 he completed UCLA’s registered nurse first assistant (RNFA) program, and he still assists surgeons at Adventist Health Clear Lake today.
Two experiences shaped the idea for Napa Valley MIT:
- Watching people wait. Isaac saw friends and family wait weeks for referrals and specialist appointments.
- A disappointing IV session while traveling. “I remember thinking, ‘This should be better’ — and that moment stuck with me,” he told the Register.
The concierge concept took shape in 2018, when he removed stitches for a client who didn’t want to drive to San Francisco and back. His wife, Casey Miller Anjejo, opened FitNV in 2019, and building alongside her through the pandemic taught him a great deal about running a business. As more people looked to avoid hospitals, his plans accelerated. In 2023, Napa Valley MIT was born.
The team and partners behind the care
Isaac first discussed the idea in 2021 with Dr. Hassan Moghaddas, chief of surgery at Adventist Health Clear Lake. Dr. Moghaddas is now our medical director and a co-founder, alongside Josh Moffitt, our head of marketing. Elena Martin joined as director of nursing in 2024.
As Isaac told the Register, the team is the biggest asset of the business. For Dr. Moghaddas, caring for patients outside the hospital has sharpened his ability to meet people where they are and address their fears, a skill he brings back to Adventist Health St. Helena and Clear Lake. Josh draws on years in Napa hospitality, including Alila Napa Valley, to shape services around what hotels and their guests need.
“Most of our local clients are repeat customers, so we become familiar with them. It almost feels like we’re taking care of family.” — Isaac Anjejo

Giving back, and how to book
Pay It Forward. Through our Pay It Forward program, qualifying cancer patients can receive IV therapy at reduced or no cost. It’s one of the parts of our work we’re proudest of.
Pricing and payment. IV therapies range from $250 to $1,000 per IV, and other medical services are priced by treatment. We accept flexible spending account (FSA) funds; we don’t yet accept other insurance.
Advice for future founders. Asked what they’d tell someone starting a health care business, Isaac and Josh pointed to finding a real need, building the right team and learning what deserves your focus first.
“It’s a privilege to treat our clients. We stand out by being professional, kind, responsive and competent.” — Isaac Anjejo
Thank you to the Napa Valley Register for telling our story, and to every client and partner who made it possible.
